Staff are able to remotely access the school network using Microsoft Remote Desktop.
You will need to inform IT Support if you require access, so we can enable your account.
There are two main ways of connecting:

For most people using a desktop PC running Windows 10 we recommend installing the Windows 10 client in the Microsoft Store:

Once the client is installed:
Tap + Add, and then tap Remote resources
Enter the feed URL https://connect.carshaltonboys.org and tap Find feeds
Add your user account by entering your username (cbsc\username or username@carshaltonboys.org) and password
If you are unable to use the Remote Desktop client, you can instead use the Web client. You will need a PC running Windows, macOS or ChromeOS. Mobile devices are not supported.

We recommend using Google Chrome, although other modern and up-to-date browsers should work.
You will be prompted to sign in. Please enter your username (cbsc\username or username@carshaltonboys.org) and password.
Once you are connected you can choose either the full desktop experience (CC4Access) or one of the apps (work resources).
When you are presented with the Location Chooser, please choose a relevant location under either Admin Classrooms or Admin Offices to ensure you have the correct drives mapped. If you choose Main Site it may prevent you from accessing certain resources on the school network.
If you subsequently need to change the location, you can do so by clicking on the My Connect icon on the taskbar and selecting the Change Location option.
